July Match Report
Another hot one, maybe the hottest we've had so far. Several of us were fading towards the end. But, with plenty of water and fans to move the air, we all made it through. Hopefully, August will be kinder for our vintage military 2-gun match. There is a saying regarding cross-fires. "There are those who have and those who will." Well, even though I put all 10 of my rapid fire carbine shots on Jay's target we still didn't score 100. How sorry is that? Oh well, it was still a lot of fun and I managed to stay in my own lane (with help) on the second match and Jim and I posted the best scores. Click here for the scores. Honorable mention to James who fired 3 really vintage military firearms. A Springfield trapdoor, a lever action carbine and a single action revolver...
Welcome to Matt and Chris who came out to shoot with us for the first time. Matt's scores aren't posted as he was sharing a firing point with Dave and they had mechanical issues.
