It was a beautiful day at the range for our CMP matches. We had a good turnout but had an incident that put a nice Springfield out of commission permanently. The rifle blew apart in the first string of the first match. The shooter, Jay, got a few small nicks from flying debris but wasn't hurt seriously. Jon and another medic from the 3-Gun match checked him over and recommended he go get checked further. No one else was affected.
