John C Garand Match Course B. Shooting positions include
standing,
sitting or kneeling, and prone. No support permitted.

Class
Rifles
allowed conform to the CMP
As-Issued rules found in the CMP
rulebook sections 6.2.4 and 6.2.5. US and Foreign bolt-action
military
rifles as issued to regular infantry troops prior to 1954. Rifles
must have iron sights only and must be in as-issued
configuration. Minimum trigger pull 3.5 lbs. Slings are
optional.
VMSAR
Class
Rifles

rulebook sections 6.2.4 and 6.2.5 with exception to allow foreign
semi-auto
rifles. US and Foreign semi-auto military rifles as issued to
regular
infantry troops prior to 1954. Rifles must have iron
sights only and must be in as-issued configuration. Minimum
trigger pull
3.5 lbs. Slings are optional.
Ammunition
must be of the same caliber as
the rifle's original chambering. Surplus, commercial, or
handloaded
ammunition is allowed. See Equipment
list for ammunition caution.
Match
Fees and prizes: Winner in each
class will get a free pass for a future match. Match fees are
$10.00 per competitor per class.
