Two (30 round) Vintage Military Rifle Matches fired simultaneously with our regular VMBAR/VMSAR matches.  The Bench-Rest match is intended for shooters who have physical conditions which make it difficult to shoot from standard positions.

All stages fired from a bench.  Stages 1 and 2 will be fired using a front rest.  Stage 3 will be fired from the bench in an upright seated position.  The shooters arms, hands, and rifle must be off of the bench.

Shooters must provide their own shooting rests.  Sandbags or mechanical rests are allowable as long as the rifle is not clamped to the rest.  Rear rests are not allowed.  The non-firing hand may be used to support the rifle butt as long as the stock is not touching the bench.

Rapid fire stage: A reload is required.  Either by inserting a second magazine or by reloading with a stripper clip.
