Crosse Creek Rifle and Pistol Club
Range Information
The Crosse Creek Rifle and Pistol Club range complex is a
members-only facility except during matches which are usually open
to the public.
The facility has ranges for target shooting at distances out
to 300 yards.
Range #1: Covered shooting positions for shooting handguns at 10,
25 and 50 yds. Covered shooting positions for shooting rifles and
shotguns at 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 yds. (Restrictions exist for certain firearm/target combinations.)
Shooting benches are provided at the 25, 50, 100, and 200 yd firing points.
Range #2: Covered shooting positions with benches and
uncovered shooting positions on a raised grass berm.
Centerfire rifles and shotguns may be fired on Range #2 with
target frames at 100, 200, and 300 yds.
Clay targets may be thrown on this range for trap shooting.
Range #3: Uncovered shooting positions at variable distances
out to 25 yds for rifle, pistol, and shotgun. This range is
separated into three bays by walls.
Archery Range: Located along the wooded access road just south of Range#1. Five firing lanes for shooting at club provided or personal targets at variable distances from 10-45 yds.
Amenities include modern restrooms (one is handicapped accessible)
and covered picnic tables.
Nearby facilities include gas stations, convenience stores, and a
grocery store. Food available nearby includes Kentucky Fried
Chicken, McDonalds, Subway, Pizza, and Chinese.
